But they told me no, stating that I ran the risk of something very serious happening to me and that I could even die if the appendix burst.“. These are the words of Sainz who described the urgent operation due to peritonitis, a potentially lethal inflammation caused by perforation of the appendix in the most extreme cases, at Jeddah hospital.
