“I thought it was a really solid match, especially on serve. I think I didn’t concede any break points and I seemed to have a very good rhythm in my serve. On grass it’s really important. At the right moments I put my feet on the pitch and played more aggressively. It’s important to keep many answers in place, and that’s what I tried to do. It worked, so I’m happy“, declares the Wimbledon 2021 finalist.
The blue then responds to a question about the reason for his excellent performance on this surface: “You should ask my opponents (laughs, ed.). I definitely think for my weapons, especially the serve. On grass, playing aggressively pays off and that’s what I like to do.
