For Damiano Cagnazzo the journey in yellow and blue ends, the two parties have not found an agreement to continue the collaboration and therefore it was decided to change course. Damiano leaves a beautiful memory in Piombino, a journey made of spectacular basketball, but also combined with results. From the first year, in which, having taken over during the season, he took the team from the bottom of the rankings to the point of almost qualifying for the playoffs, to the second where he led the team to conquer the new national Serie B, again after having cherished the possibility of playing the playoffs for A2. Finally the last season, in a high level Serie B, with qualification for the final event and an exciting playoff that ended in game 5 against Ruvo.

I wish the best to the players met on this journey, I thank them for the great work they have done. I thank and greet the custodians of the Palatenda who have always given us a smile and support in our daily work.
