Yamaha completed the private MotoGP test in Valencia spread over two days (Tuesday and Wednesday). The two spearheads Fabio Quartararo and Alex Rins are on the track, looking for new solutions that can bring the YZR-M1 back to competitive levels. But even this time the expectations remained unexpected.

Team manager Massimo Meregalli had planned an extensive test program, but it could not be fully implemented. It was difficult for Quartararo and Rins to complete many laps on dry tyres. Fabio can’t hide his disappointment at the end of the Valencia test. “The conditions were pretty bad. At least on Wednesday we managed to complete some of the planned work. Soon we will return to try to improve the feeling. We won’t give up!“. Due to the extreme lighting conditions on the track, Quartararo wore a visor without mirrors. Lap times for the sessions were not released.
The MotoGP World Championship continues after the break from 28 to 30 June in Assen. Holland has a special flavor for the Frenchman: last year he finished on the podium in the Sprint race, achieving his best result since the format was introduced at the beginning of 2023.
