Matteo Giorgi, a 21-year-old athlete attending his second year of Sports Science, after a long experience at Montesi in B has decided to dedicate himself to beach volleyball: in 2×2 he participated in various under national finals, now he plays in the national Bper maximum championships level. For the second time he will be on the World Tour which starts tomorrow in Bulgaria. Matteo took flight yesterday and will represent Italy in his small way and also his beloved Pesaro. He will play as Italia, in the same Word Tour as the Italian giants: for a boy who moves independently and without sponsors it is already a great success to participate. Matteo’s partner is from Ancona, his name is Davide Boncompagni, born in ’91. “The emotion is a lot, being able to enter an international tournament for the second time in less than a year certainly makes me proud of the path I am taking together with my coach and my company Beach Volley Mattabel – says Giorgi himself – this is my first experience outside Italy so the tension is there, I won’t hide it, but I’m sure that this World Tour will give me a lot of motivation for a future International Tournament. In addition to my club, I would like to thank my parents and the my girlfriend who are always there and help me never give up.”
