The dark period of his career continues Martina Trevisan: not even the familiar air of Roland Garros woke up the semi-finalist of this tournament a couple of seasons ago. He wins Olga Danilovic with a very clear 6-1, 6-2 in an hour and twenty minutes of play. A domination by the Serbian coming from the qualifiers.

Match that started with some fought games and rather balanced and close exchanges: Danilovic canceled a break point to Trevisan at 1-1 to then take the break lead, fly 3-1 and cancel two further break points to go up to 4-1. Set that will end at 6-1 despite there not being too much difference in the game, but when the point matters it is always Danilovic who has the upper hand.

Second set which started on the same plot, with the world number 125 breaking immediately, but this time the counter-break from Trevisan who managed to react. From here, however, the light went out again, with several errors committed by the Florentine tennis player who got lost and ended up clearly losing the second set too.

Game that was dominated by Danilovic also in terms of numbers: 64% of points with the first serve, 52% with the second serve. Trevisan who collected just 31% of points with the first, saved only one break point out of six and exploited only one out of nine.
