ADRIATIC SUNRISE – The event, organized by Beach Sport in collaboration with the Abruzzo Italian Rugby Federation, is reserved for athletes under 14 and will take place at the Umby Racing Arena of the Al Faro establishment on Saturday 8 June, starting at 3pm.
The free tournament has now become a classic for those clubs that play youth rugby. The technical director of Fir Abruzzo, Antonio Colella, has issued the invitation to all the clubs in Marche, Lazio, Umbria and Abruzzo. We’ll see who will be able to snatch the title from the Experience team of L’Aquila who last year won, in an all-family final, 7-5 against Experience B.
Mini matches will take place with two 10′ halves with the teams divided into groups of three. Beach sport and rugby are now an indissoluble and consolidated combination over the years. From the finals of the Italian beach rugby championship held in the pre-covid period to this new adventure with young people which is giving a lot of satisfaction.
The event will take place throughout the day on Saturday and will end with the rich awards ceremony and the joyful final snack offered by the Al Faro establishment.
