Final whistle for Frosinone-Inter at Stirpe. Simone Inzaghi, Nerazzurri coach, spoke at the press conference in these minutes to comment on what happened in the 90′. Here are his words, collected by the correspondent of Fcinter1908.it: “So many good signs, I got the answers I wanted. I didn’t need confirmation, but the guys who had less space deserved personal satisfaction. It’s my fault they had less playing time, but they gave excellent responses. Many come to mind, including Asllani who deserved more space than he got. I’m very happy with everyone, I spent a few more words on him tonight because he deserves it.”
Buchanan arrived to replace Cuadrado, but always played on the left. Should we expect it next year too? How will he celebrate the goal?
“He fit in well. He’s an introverted boy, but he fit in well. He played a lot on the right, but on the right we have Dumfries, Darmian and Cuadrado, there are many in that role. I also put him in out of necessity on the left, I’ve always liked him in training. I’ve had him play several games there to give me a chance to breathe, so I have guarantees in that role too. He’s carved out his space and tonight he made the most of it.”
What do you think about next season?
“I have a club that for some time now, not since April 22nd, has been working to ensure that the team can improve. In football you always have to improve, we will try to do it with the club. We have two matches that we care about, we will try to do of our best, then we will sit down and think about the best. The celebration that the fans gave us is something that will remain with us. I knew that we had made a lot of people happy, I nicknamed it the championship of joy because we completed a job done since July 13th, making millions of Inter fans happy. What the fans created was unique and sensational.”
