UEFA has designated the teams of referees chosen for the two Europa League semi-finals which will see the Italian representatives Atalanta and Roma involved on Thursday. For the Dea match against Marseille (starting from the 1-1 draw in the first leg at the Velodrome), the Spaniard Gil Manzano was chosen, assisted by his compatriots Barbero and Nevado, with Martinez Munuera and Hernandez at VAR. Fourth official is the Ukrainian Balakin. For Roma, chasing a comeback on the Bayer Leverkusen pitch after the 0-2 in the opening 90 minutes, the Dutchman Makkelie (in the photo) has been chosen. With him an all-Netherlands team: the two linesmen are Steegstra and De Vries, fourth official Gozubuyuk while in VAR there is Dieperink with the help of Van Boekel.
