French GP 2024: Vinales promises a competitive Aprilia

The French GP represents an opportunity for redemption for theAprilia, fresh from the weekend of the Spanish GP in which he achieved very little satisfaction. On the Bugatti Le Mans circuit, which offers a mix of slow and fast corners along its 4,185 meter track, the RS-GP24 should be at ease and allow its drivers to fight for the top positions.

MAVERICK’S TRUST The Le Mans track is certainly one of his favourites Maverick Viñales. The Spaniard won on this track in the 125 class in 2011, in Moto3 in 2013 and in MotoGP in 2017. After having only achieved ninth place in the Sunday grand prix in his home grand prix, Vinales aims to replicate the triumphant weekend of Austin who had also launched him in the general classification: ”Le Mans is a track where I have always felt competitive. I have the feeling that this year will be special because of the level we have reached and how I feel with the RS-GP24. I think Le Mans will be one of the tracks where we will be strongest. I arrive focused and motivated, the atmosphere in France is beautiful, the track too”.

BRAKING AND WEATHER KEY POINTS He is undoubtedly even more eager for redemption Aleix Espargaro, who collected two retirements in Jerez. The Spaniard has already stood on the podium of the French GP in the past and underlines the fundamental aspects of this race: ”I’m happy to go to Le Mans, a legendary circuit where braking is fundamental. The weather is always complicated, in that sense it will be a challenge. It’s a track that I like, where two years ago I got a podium and last year P8 and P5. I can’t wait to get there and start getting the results we deserve”.
