MARINA DI GROSSETO – First round of playoffs for the girls of Invicta Volleyball, who defeated the winner of group B, Polisportiva Vicarello, in Collesalvetti in game 1, with a clear 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-19 partial ones). A match that starts off uphill for the young team of Mr. Spina and Chiappelli, thanks to the emotion of the final and a building full of Labronic fans; the greater experience of the hosts gives them an initial advantage, but after having taken the measurements of the pitch the invictagirls manage to loosen up and begin to play. The quality of the girls from Grosseto comes out by winning all three sets.

“We played a good match, with the right attention and desire to perform – commented the coaches at the end of the match – We took to the field with the correct attitude and the right determination. Playing a final away from home wasn’t easy but our girls were clear-headed and weren’t too intimidated either by their opponents or by the atmosphere that surrounded them. Now the series moves to our home and therefore game 2 and possible game 3 will be played in Marina, with greater serenity”.
Meet on Saturday 18 May at 9pm at the PalaMaroncelli in Marina di Grosseto for race 2; with a victory the Maremma team won promotion to Serie D.

Invicta Volleyball: Sara Alfieri, Margherita Andreini, Giovanna Ambrosecchio, Carolina Bianco, Carlotta Bosi, Sofia Coratti (L), Noemi Goracci, Camilla Parronchi, Matilde Petrucci, Valentina Rolando, Veronica Rolando (K), Marica Saviello. All. Spina and Chiappelli.
