Honda, looking for the exit from the tunnel
Even the Jerez de la Frontera Grand Prix did not give great satisfaction Honda, exiting the Andalusian circuit with just five points. A broth brought home by Joan Mir – which moved the rankings in both the Sprint and Grand Prix – which doesn’t lift the Japanese mood much.
At Le Mans the objective will always be the same: to improve the performance of the package and hope to see the light at the end of the tunnel, perhaps taking advantage of the tests conducted on Monday 29 April. Important tests also for Luca Marini to increase the feeling with the RCV213V.
Marini’s words
“Le Mans will be another opportunity to improve. My team and I are giving our all to progress and we face the weekend of the French GP with the same intensity. It’s important to stay focused and make the most of every opportunity that comes your way. The weather in Le Mans can be quite wet and cold, let’s see what we can get”, these are the words of the former Ducati rider.
Mir’s words
“In the end, if we look at what happened in Jerez, we must be satisfied: we achieved the most we could achieve“, Mir added. “The goal is to do the same this weekend. Le Mans is a different track, with a lot of low-speed corners, so we need to work to prepare as much as possible”.
