It will be a peaceful and colorful invasion that from this morning, 6 May, and throughout the week, will characterize the coast of Ostia (Pinetina Beach Village, Lungomare Lutazio Catulo 14) on the occasion of the traditional Beach Volleyball School-ACEA Trophy tournament. An army of teams from Roman high school schools – over four hundred and it is another record after the one achieved in the indoor competition with two hundred and fifteen teams at the start – is preparing to compete to win the coveted ACEA trophies.
“We should be used to it by now– the President of Fipav Lazio Andrea confides to us Burlandi who was a staunch supporter of the discipline on the sand many years ago – and yet every year Volley School manages to surprise us with ever-increasing numbers. And the numbers, in the end, are not even the most important aspect because along with them the enthusiasm grows exponentially. We can already imagine the spectacle of a facility occupied by thousands of students, teachers and family members for an entire week and we imagine the curious gaze of the bathers who have already begun to become familiar with the sea”.
Also in the Beach Volleyball School – ACEA Trophy the rule of four competing categories applies, namely Junior and Open for men and women. The ruler of recent years, the Liceo Democrito, is highly anticipated. Finals on May 9th and 10th.
