Bari’s troubles never end, falling into the relegation zone. Yesterday, a couple of hours after the match against Cittadella (which ended 1-1), the sporting director of the Apulian club Ciro Polito was attacked by four pseudo Bari fans, at a motorway service station near Occhiobello on the A13 Padua – Bologna. During a very heated brawl, the Bari manager, in the company of his wife, was apparently hit by a few slaps and a strong push. Digos investigations began immediately to ascertain the identity of those responsible and the circumstances of the episode. The images from the camera system, placed inside the service station, will obviously be valuable. Polito was the only one of the Bari group to leave Cittadella by car, while the rest of the team returned to Bari by plane.
