Currently eighth on 44 points, cohabiting with Connacht and Ulster, with the Stormers ahead of them on 45 and Edinburgh behind them on 43, the Lions have to go all out if they want to gain a pass for the playoffs. Marco Bortolami’s men will have to face, in order, the Sharks (11 May at 4.05 pm), and the Bulls (Saturday 18 May at 2.00 pm), away, and at home to Edinburgh (1 June at 2.00 pm ).

Fabio Roselli’s team has so far collected 15 points, occupies 16th place, but has the Dragons and Scarlets above it, with 16 and 17 points respectively. The aim for the next three matches is to overcome the Welsh franchises. The matches on the agenda will be: Edinburgh (10 May at 8.35pm away), Scarlets (17 May at 8.35pm at home) and Glasgow Warriors (31 May at 8.35pm).
