The penultimate volleyball weekend issued the first verdicts relating to the Lodi and South Milanese teams: in the women’s Serie D, Properzi Lodi with the away victory in the derby against Blu Volley 3-2 secured a place in the play offs for promotion to Serie C, making Cavenago Brianza’s success over Tomolpack Marudo irrelevant. Vizzolo, on the other hand, bid farewell to its fans with a beautiful 3-0 victory over Aicurzio.
In the men’s Serie C Elisir Vizzolo wins in Legnano 3-1 and is definitively safe while in the same women’s category the blue and whites of coach Alessandro Pecoraro lose at home 3-1 against Vescovato and, thanks to the success of Millenium Brescia in Busnago with the same score, despite having a two point advantage, they will play for their place in Serie C in the direct clash next Saturday in Brescia.
