The 19 laps of the Sprint race on Saturday did not provide too many emotions with Verstappen who achieved back-to-back victories. Second lot Leclerc with a Ferrari which appeared in good shape, the other third Red Bull Of Perez. Fourth and fifth positions for Ricciardo, who achieved the best result of the season with the Racing Bulls, and Sainz with the second Ferrari. The appetizer of the race for Ferrari had been anything but promising, with Leclerc touched by Ocon (Alpine) as they headed to the grid. The Frenchman from Alpine touches the right rear of the Monegasque’s Ferrari, damaging the front flap of his Alpine. It all ends with a 10″ penalty for the transalpine squire.
Verstappen pgood art and maintains the lead of the race, followed by Leclerc, Ricciardo and Perez. At the first corner Alonso touches his teammate Stroll, on the left, on the side, who in turn hits Norris, forced to end the race prematurely. Hamilton was also involved in the accident, but without consequences, while Norris and Stroll were forced to abandon. The race resumes after safety cars with Verstappen always in the lead, then Leclerc, Ricciardo and Perez. The Dutchman controls Leclerc well, then Perez, Ricciardo, Sainz, Piastri, Hulkenberg, Magnussen to close the points. On lap 12 Sainz attacks Ricciardo, but the Australian defends himself well. Magnussen was given a 10″ penalty for cutting the chicane in a duel with Hamilton.
The race ends with Verstappen ahead of Leclerc, Perez and Ricciardo. They close the points area Sainz, Piastri, Hulkenberg, Tsunodsa.
