Bungee Center of Veglio in pink for the Giro d’Italia. On Sunday 5 May, on the occasion of the Biella stage of the “Giro d’Italia”, the Bungee Center of Veglio organizes a themed jump from the Colossus Bridgefestively decorated for the special passage.
An experienced member of the Bungee Team will carry out a “special” launch in perfect cycling uniform but, just for this occasion, with 2 pink smoke bombsto ideally trace a connection between the historic Biella outdoor activity and the equally historic passage of the runners, in the road immediately downstream of the famous viaduct.
Towards the thirtieth anniversary
The Bungee Center in Veglio is approaching the great milestone of 30 years of activity which will be celebrated next year with a big party, currently being planned.
In fact, it was 1995 when, with ainauguration full of emotions and with the participation of the legendary Patrick De Gayardonthe foundations were laid for what today, to all intents and purposes, is a true excellence of the Biella area, capable of attracting enthusiasts from all over the world and generating work and related activities for entire generations.
The Colossus Bridge is among the 150 tallest in the world
The Colossus Bridge it is 350 meters long, 152 meters high above the stream, it is suspended on 8 reinforced concrete pylons, 9th highest bridge in Italy And among the 150 tallest in the world. Built following a terrible flood which, in ’68, left an indelible wound in the area, it is today known throughout the world as a true Bungee cult site.
