With these words, Potke confirmed that he will no longer play with Itas and that for now his horizon after the Champions League is only the VNL with the Serbian sextet: “Nothing planned apart from the national team. First I thought about coming here and doing two years with this great company, but I felt so good that I extended another two years. – he declared during the broadcast – Now certainly speaking with the club, it’s time to change, to take another path because it’s obvious at 36, almost 37 years old… it’s a normal thing in our sport in general. I am an athlete who definitely cannot stay and cannot always play at the current level, so a right choice.”
