The masseur Giuseppe Pigliacampo, of Appignano, has left an indelible mark in the world of women’s volleyball. Her professional journey has been marked by extraordinary successes and significant contributions to the teams she has worked with.
In the 2022-2023 season he began his adventure with the club Levallois-Paris volleyball. The Parisian club, after years of mixed results, has finally returned to the elite of transalpine volleyball this season.
The highlight of this season was undoubtedly April 26th, when Levallois Paris volleyball became champions of France, for the first time in its history, Pigliacampo celebrated its ninth victory in 10 finals played in the last 6 years, a record amazing.
The 2023-2024 season was truly memorable for the massophysiotherapist from Appignano and the Paris club. Not only did they triumph in the French championship, but they also surprised fans with a remarkable run in the CEV Cup, only surrendering in the semi-final against the Italian team Chieri, then winners of the tournament. These successes have helped further strengthen Pigliacampo’s reputation as one of the most competent sports massage physiotherapists.
Pigliacampo is a volleyball traveler who has taken him to places like Kazakhstan and Estonia. In these countries he achieved two fantastic “hat-tricks”: cup, Super Cup and Championship. In addition to his commitment to clubs, Giuseppe Pigliacampo also has the role of masso-physiotherapist in the Bulgarian women’s national volleyball team. From 2022, together with the Urbino coach Lorenzo Micelli, another successful volleyball player from the Marche region, has worked incessantly to bring the team to the highest level. Participation in the Volleyball Nations League, the World Championship and the European Championship brought extraordinary results with the Balkan national team achieving the best result in the last 20 years of its history in the last European Championship.
Giuseppe Pigliacampo’s path in the world of women’s volleyball is an extraordinary journey made of determination, commitment and an incessant search for excellence. His contribution to the growth and success of the teams he worked with is testimony to his extraordinary competence and passion for his work. With still many challenges to face and goals to achieve, starting with the next Volleyball Nations League with the Bulgarian national team.
