LBA MARKET – Sassari, GM Pasquini: “I’m staying at Dinamo, and there will be many changes to the roster”

The General Manager of Banco di Sardegna Sassari Federico Pasquini anticipates what will be Dinamo’s summer after a season of highs but above all lows. Coach Nenad Markovic’s team, after avoiding the worst, went through a series of negative results that did not allow them to reach the playoffs. Pasquini, who is in La Nuova Ferrara, is not happy is keen to deny the rumours emerged at the beginning of the month regarding a future at Spal: “Yes, I read: nothing true. I love basketball and I will continue to “eat” my brain in basketball. I am not moving from this movement. And from Sassari? Neither. Apart from the fact that I have a contract valid until 2025, what really matters is the relationship with President Sardara: a glance between us is enough and this goes far beyond a piece of paper.”

On the season and the future, Pasquini adds: “A complex year, in which there were ups and downs. We saved ourselves by reaching the peak when the calendar offered us the toughest challenges: Virtus Bologna, Venice and Brescia. Without that string of successes we would have been relegated. That’s fine. Future at Dinamo? Yes, because in Sassari there is programming and that’s one of the reasons why I feel great. We think in perspective: the company is serious. It gives value to people. I’m very lucky and I have freedom of action: a lot of stuff. I’m fine where I am. The new Sassari roster? We will change some players, because we were not satisfied with their performance. Two or three others have requests from high-end clubs. There will be many changes“.
