The season of the Under 16 New Life Project, the Labronian association formed by the Volley Livorno and Torretta Volley clubs, ends with a victory in the regional final with the prize for third place overall.
A truly extraordinary year for coach Falchi’s rosanero, who have suffered only one defeat in the entire journey from October to today.
Unfortunately, the icing on the cake was missing, with access to the national stages narrowly missed, but it was certainly a season worth remembering for the Livorno team.
Returning to the news, in Castelnuovo Berardenga (SI) Risaliti and her teammates beat Euroripoli Volley 3-2 (25-23; 23-25; 26-24; 23-25; 15-) in the 3rd/4th place final. 6) in a hard-fought match and not suitable for the faint of heart.
The two teams faced each other openly, without many tactics, with constant reversals, giving rise to a challenge full of emotions.
All the partials were played point to point with the exception of the tiebreak, where the Project showed more determination, competitive determination and desire to win, taking the set and the match away from their opponents with a clear 15-6.
