Referees, no distorted match during the round
Incredible but true, no decisive errors in the ten games of the fifth last season of the championship: almost a record. This does not mean that there were no oversights. Unjust, for example, theTameze’s expulsion in Inter-Turin: there was yellow. However, the Nerazzurri won the match with merit and with a two-goal margin. Controversy also in Napoli-Roma due to Sozza’s errors and his assistants, corrected by VAR both on the occasion of the penalty rightly awarded to Napoli (foul by Renato Sanches on Kvaratskhelia), and on the occasion of the 2-2 – in regular position – by Abraham.

Which are then similar to those issued by the “real” championship ranking: Inter champions of Italy and Salernitana in Serie B. In the ranking freed from oversights, Bologna is ahead of Juventus, while at the bottom Sassuolo is much better placed than its real situation, where it is instead one step away from relegation.

THE RULES
This ranking is drawn up on the basis of what happens on the pitch, during decisive episodes which can directly determine the result, such as goals validated or disallowed, penalties awarded or not awarded, an exaggerated or unfair expulsion many minutes from the conclusion of the match. Variables that are not directly decisive are not considered, such as yellow cards, real or presumed fouls that occurred in the action preceding the one that led to a goal, a disputed expulsion in the Cesarini area, etc. In the event of a tie on points between two or more teams, the team that has suffered the most penalties during the championship is rewarded.
