Second edition of the City of Biella Trophy – Red Cross Trophy, FCI cycling race reserved for 1st and 2nd year beginners, organized by the Velo Club Piatto in collaboration with the Velo Club Castelletto Cervo, the Biella Committee of the Red Cross and the administration municipality of Biella. 91 athletes competing who braved the bad weather but who brought the event to life in the city streets. The route was 5 kilometers long (to be repeated 4 times for the 1st year beginners and 6 times for the 2nd year beginners) on Felice Piacenza, via Salvo d’Acquisto, via Rigola, via Tripoli, via Torino, piazza Adua, via Cottolengo, via Valle d’Aosta, via Piemonte and via Fratelli Rosselli, and then ending in via Pajetta in front of the Palasport. 42 debutants from the first year, the victory went by detachment to Nicolò Casalicchio of the Madonna di Campagna group, while a sprint finish for those from the second year (49 participants) over whom Federico Rolando of the Piosacco Group prevailed
