At the end of the match lost against the Nerazzurri, the Croatian coach himself spoke about the situation and the objective between now and the end of the championship: “The sending off directed the match and was decisive because up until that moment I saw Turin in the match”. On the lack of goals (the Granata attack has been dry in the last three days): “In many games we created a lot without scoring. Even when playing with four the team expressed itself well and did not disappoint me. The general contribution of the midfielders, wingers and defenders was very low in numerical terms.”
To close he then spoke about the objective of the last four championship matches: “We want to make as little mistakes as possible and do our best, trying to keep to the left side of the table. Something more is expected from Torino and I think it’s also right. However, there remains a positive feeling in recent years: we have helped many young people grow and in the head of the president players like the various Ricci, Bellanova, Buongiorno can have a great future for Toro.
