Nepi – We receive and publish – Ecosantagata Civita Castellana loses at home to Unione volleyball Camaiore and puts its chances of winning third place in the men’s Serie B group F at risk. The rossoblù surrendered 3-2, after recovering from an initial 2-0 deficit.
The match began in the worst possible way for Civita Castellana, overcome by a more effective and concentrated Camaiore, who even took the lead to 2-0 in their favour, winning the first set 21-25 and the second 18-25.
At that point comes the reaction of the rossoblù, who even the score with two sets won 25-21 and 25-13 respectively.
Everything is at stake in the tie-break and Camaiore prevails with a winning sprint that closes the games 12-15. The Tuscans won the match 2-3.
With two matches still to be played, Ecosantagata Civita Castellana therefore remains in fourth place in the standings, with 48 points. Grosseto, at 50 with one game less, has the chance to extend their lead almost definitively in the fight for third place.
