A path to be undertaken one step at a time, concentrating as best as possible to win each challenge, starting from the first leg of the semi-finals, which will see the Lions take to the field in Città di Castello on Sunday.
A demanding challenge on a difficult pitch, against a team that finished second in the Marche Championship just a few points from the top, and which has the same objective as the Bianconeri, that of achieving a historic promotion to Serie B. Baracchi and Solari’s boys are already on their way to Città di Castello, where they will spend the night to better face tomorrow’s challenge. “We said it to each other from the first training session after the last day of the championship – explained head coach Davide Baracchi: from this moment everything goes to zero. What we did this season is important and no one will take it away from us, but now it counts for nothing. We have two challenges ahead of us, and possibly two more, to live intensely and with the desire to impose ourselves and win, without bravado and with a lot of concentration. The attitude of the boys in these two weeks of training has been positive, we have worked well and we are ready to take to the field to win this semi-final.”
Kick-off scheduled for Sunday 28 April at 2.30 pm in Città di Castello, for the match between the hosts Città di Castello Rugby and Sitav Rugby Lyons valid for the first leg of the Promotion Semifinal of the Serie C Championship. The match return is scheduled at the Beltrametti Stadium on Sunday 5 May.
