The first challenge with the possibility of the title arrives in the Scudetto Final. Tomorrow, Sunday 28 April, at 6.00 pm, Mint Vero Volley Monza And Sir Susa Vim Perugia they find themselves face to face at the Opiquad Arena in Brianza for the fourth time in the series. In the first three matches the field factor was always respected. Angelo Lorenzetti’s Umbrian team, which reached the final stage as the best finalist and is chasing the second Scudetto in its history after the 2017/18 title, leads 2-1 thanks to successes in four sets in the first and third matches, while in Lombardia, at the tie-break in Race 2, came the only success of Massimo Eccheli’s team. Last Thursday the first part of the match was almost one-sided, with Giannelli and his teammates giving their own pace to the match. The Monza team’s lead in the third set was illusory, because in the fourth set Perugia took the lead again. What made the difference was the consistency of the world champions in attack, but also the Umbrian performance on serve (9 aces to 5) and on blocks. 10 winning blocks (against 5 by the guests), of which 5 made by Flavio Resende and 4 by top scorer Wassim Ben Tara, author of 20 points. The three spikers from Monza all scored in double figures, with Eric Loeppky at 17, Ran Takahashi at 14 and Stephen Maar at 11. In Game 4 the Mint will try for everything.

Play Off Scudetto – The formula
The top 8 in the Super League at the end of the Regular Season participate in the Scudetto Play Offs. All three rounds (Quarter, Semi-finals, Final) are played with the formula of 3 games won out of 5. The first match, the third and the possible play-off are played at the home of the team with the best ranking at the end of the Regular Season . The winner wins the 2024 Scudetto, both enter the 2024/2025 Champions League. The two defeated semi-finalists face each other in the 3rd Place Final.

Rai Sport will follow the Scudetto Finals with a personalized production, with dedicated shots, commentary and direction. Maurizio Colantoni will always narrate the event on commentary, while Andrea Lucchetta and Fabio Vullo will alternate between the commentary station and the studio set up on the sidelines, where they will interview the protagonists of the Finals before and after the match, conducted by journalist Luca Di Pretty. Like all Rai programs, the Scudetto Finals will be visible on Rai Play, both live and on demand.
