The Press Conference to prepare for the Playoffs with the Owners and Technical Staff recently ended. The Conference that had the objective of bringing us closer to the Playoffs, starting on Saturday 4 May at 9.00 pm, has reserved a surprise and that is the announcement of the extension of the Coach’s contract for three years Alessandro Rossi and the Assistant Coach Andrea Ruggieri in addition to the 1+1 extension of the Athletic Trainer Tommaso Rizzacasa. These are the words of those present at the table:

Roberto Pietropaoli: “A big round of applause goes to the staff and the players. Alessandro was amazing at making the players understand that Sebastiani came first and then the single. We are the surprise of the championship, at the beginning of the championship they put us between seventh and ninth place. We won at PalaDozza, we won in Udine, we went well above expectations! The whole city must be aware of this, we must band together and live this moment with great enthusiasm! We have signed a three-year contract with Alessandro Rossi and Andrea Ruggieri who will be our technical guide for the next three seasons. We also signed for another year plus one with Rizzacasa. These guys are really special and this is confirmed by the fact that Alessandro received many offers, but he told me “I want to stay in Rieti and win here”, this gives you an idea of what kind of person Alessandro Rossi is”.

Alessandro Rossi: “The best phase of the season is approaching, I remember where we started from 8 months ago now, we had to be an annoying team that had to reconfirm the category, we went well beyond expectations, we qualified from third and we will play the first turn with the field factor in favor. I thank the Company for its trust and for allowing me to always work peacefully and efficiently. I’m happy to stay here and continue to grow as a coach and as a man.”

Andrea Ruggieri: the belief we gathered day after day helped us a lot, if they had told me 8 months ago that we would have finished third I wouldn’t have believed it but our season was excellent and we deserved it.

Tommaso Rizzacasa: the balance is more than positive, from a physical point of view we went through a bad period but we overcame it together and now we finished third.
