On the use of the GP24…
“For the moment I haven’t yet had time to work on my own basic set-up and I’m using Pecco’s (Bagnaia, NDA). He is the world champion, he is my reference in Ducati. I’ve always adapted, but there are so many new things for me, and the set-up is just one more thing to manage”

“Fortunately, the team and bike have great potential, this is a point in my favor. Inside the garage we are excited and surprised by my speed of adaptation: it’s encouraging. From here we have to grow: I’m definitely not 100%, but it’s difficult say a number. As my technical boss Branchini said, I’m effective when braking, while I struggle a bit in the center and when exiting corners. It’s good to be strong when braking, that’s where you can make overtaking and make the difference in the race , it can be very useful: in Yamaha I had worked a lot on this aspect and with Ducati you can be more conservative to make better use of the acceleration”
