Calhanoglu live live on Instagram: Thuram, Zhang, Dimarco, Barella and… Theo

The championship celebration in the times of social networks: jokes, puffy eyes, “after” glasses and a lot of spontaneity that in the world of football is not always within the reach of any fan. Around midday Hakan Calhanoglu started an Instagram live broadcast, involving many fans who were protagonists of the Italian flag and were still visibly tired from the night of celebrations and the very few hours of sleep. An almost hour-long show that reached peaks of over 60 thousand connected users, a series of scenes with an epic flavour.

Calhanoglu broadcast everything from his home, with a great co-host found in Marcus Thuram: with his usual kindness he teased all the guests directly from a secret place (“I don’t say where they are, otherwise they’ll all come here”), wearing glasses particularly cumbersome “after” items promptly made fun of by everyone. The ex Radja Nainggolan was also constantly connected, very active with the comments but never really part of the live broadcast. In sequence we also saw Nicolò Barella, Federico Dimarco, captain Lautaro Martinez and Denzel Dumfries, awakened by the call of his teammates and for several minutes comically enveloped in the darkness of the room as evidence of the efforts of the celebrations in Piazza Duomo.

Particularly surprising was the appearance of president Steven Zhang in the late Chinese afternoon, always ready to play the game with his players who have never been so wild. Thuram and Calhanoglu reminded him that they were taken “for zero euros”, he reiterated that “everyone knows that this is not the case”. The club owner then admitted that he was excited to see Calhanoglu celebrating after the match, he continued to smile throughout the live broadcast and proved to be fully in tune with the team group: “Don’t let Dimarco in, I already know what he wants to ask me …”.
