Descriptive text here

The will of the late Trevor Francis, former striker of Nottingham and Sampdoria among others, who passed away on 24 July at the age of 69, has been opened. Due to their recent disagreements, he didn’t leave even a cent to his children…

Trevor Francis’ children will not have even a cent of the former England striker’s assets of over 2 million euros. According to what is established in the will, the beneficiaries of the former Sampdoria footballer’s inheritance are only two people: his brother Ian and his sister Carolyn.

Trevor Francis Estate to Brother and Sister: Disinherited Children

Trevor Francis, former English striker for Nottingham Forest, Manchester City, Sampdoria and Atalanta among others, died of a heart attack on 24 July at the age of 69. Now, as we learn from his will, the £1.9 million estate will not end up in the hands of his two sons, James and Matthew.

The differences and deteriorated relationships led the late Francis to decide not to leave anything to his children. James and Matthew had also attended their father’s funeral in Marbella, Spain. The beneficiaries of Francis’ rich heritage will therefore be his brother Ian and sister Carolyn. The will, drawn up in February 2019, is clear: “I wish to make it clear in this will of mine that I have not included my children as beneficiaries due to the fact that we have become estranged due to family disagreements in recent months. None of my children are financially dependent from me”. Siblings Ian and Carolyn will split their late brother’s property in the UK equally. As for the Spanish estate in Marbella, this will be divided separately.
