Valdilana awaits the Giro d’Italia between photo contests, sporting events and musical evenings – Newsbiella.it

Valdilana is also working hard to welcome the passage of the Giro d’Italia in the best possible way. After the Enduro Day in Rosa, which took place on Sunday 21 April, the Sports Department of the municipality of Valdilana has prepared a rich program of events which will start from Wednesday 1 May, in Soprana, with Al Mulino in Rosa, with visits at the Ecomuseo Ex Mulino Susta and an aperitif accompanied by music, created by the Pro Loco.

On Friday, from 6.30pm, the “Pink Vibes” evening will take place in Piazza Italia in Mosso, complete with a DJ set, street food area and Team Fit Dance performance. Saturday, at the Ponzone covered market, a triple event not to be missed: at 2pm there will be a mountain bike ride for children aged 4 and up (together with the Oasi Zegna National MTB School), with a snack offered by the Pro Loco, and a trail along the paths of the La Sella Refuge, free to all, with the Oasi Zegna MTB Enduro. At 8pm, however, at the Pro Loco headquarters in Crocemosso, dinner with paella and live music with Radio Rock.

Finally, on Sunday 5 May, starting from 11am, DJ-Set, with bar service and street food area, on the Ponte Lora in Trivero, awaiting the arrival of the pink caravan. An identical station will be positioned in the main square of Mosso. Furthermore, around a thousand bags have been made available by the Municipality to be worn as the athletes pass by during the competition. The municipal administration is satisfied, especially for the synergy and the response given by the associations, in view of a major event like the Giro d’Italia.

In the field are these entities: Free Bike Trivero, Rifugio La Sella Recreational Group, Oasi Zegna MTB Enduro, Friends of the Reda Park, Passage to the East, National MTB School Oasi Zegna, Pro Loco of Crocemosso, Mosso, Soprana and Trivero. Finally, the Valdilana in Rosa photo contest has begun: anyone can create their own showcase in pink, in celebration of the Giro d’Italia on May 5th. Membership is free upon receipt of the flyer and until April 27th the photographer will be able to come and take a photo of the shop window. The awards ceremony will be held on May 4th, at 4pm, at the covered market in Ponzone.
