Disappointment Napoli, proposal for the last 5 matches: “Salaries at 50%”

A former manager spoke about Napoli’s season and the prospects for this season finale and beyond. During his speech, the sensational hypothesis to be made for the next five matchdays and in case of failure to qualify for any European competition for the next season arrived.

Naples, drastic solution proposed to De Laurentiis

The season played by Napoli was far from anyone’s expectations. No one would have ever expected such a collapse on the part of the Azzurri, especially after having won the scudetto without any obvious problems. Unfortunately, however, this season has shown all the limitations of the team, which has proven incapable of defending the tricolor won and beyond. Several seasonal performances have created a certain embarrassment, with many Azzurri being protagonists of horror performances on the pitch. Even the various technical leaders of the team have lost their way this season, showing all the weaknesses of a team that seemed insurmountable until a year ago. In view of the season finale, the Azzurri also risk not accessing any European competition, given the negative trend. The former manager Enrico Fedele spoke to Radio Marswhere he made a particular proposal to De Laurentiis: “If I were in the Napoli president’s place, I would face the next 5 matches by promising the players 50% of my earnings if they didn’t manage to reach Europe. Not only the Europa League but also the Conference.”

A harsh proposal made by the former manager to the owner of Napoli, but which aims to punish the players for their performance on the pitch. Such a drastic solution could shake up the team group, which would perhaps put more malice and aggression on the pitch. This proposal should really be taken into consideration by De Laurentiis, in order to also understand if it brings benefits in view of these matches or no changes at all. What is certain is that the Azzurri are performing quite unseemly, which is then demonstrated by the various negative results. To date, no scolding or punishment has served, and perhaps this even harsher hypothesis could prove to be the right one to shake up the environment.
