L’Aquila Rugby, the protagonists of the ’94 Scudetto remember Di Cesare, Perrotti and Desiati

L’Aquila Rugby, a conference that will retrace the main stages of the conquest of the historic championship and which, above all, will remember three historic figures of the city’s sport. Appointment at the My Gym gym on April 22nd.

L’Aquila Rugby celebrates the thirtieth anniversary of the historic championship. It will take place next Monday 22 April at 5.30 pm at the My Gym gym (Via Francesco Durini) the conference in L’Aquila “The long road to a championship”, organized byASD My Gym Study Center of L’Aquila as part of the program of initiatives dedicated to the celebration of thirtieth anniversary of the historic Aquila Rugby championship, won in April 1994. The match is dedicated to the memory of three historic figures of L’Aquila sport, ISAIA DI CESARE, PAOLO PERROTTI AND PIERGIORGIO DESIATI, with the aim – through the testimonies of the protagonists of that unforgettable season – to reweave the story of the very hard work both individually and as a team that led to the historic victory of the first series scudetto by the black and green team. In addition to the team protagonist of an unforgettable moment, they will intervene Marco Molina, President of the FIR provincial committee, former rugby players Gino Troiani and Massimo Mascioletti; the journalists who followed and reported the weeks preceding the scudetto and then the legendary match against Milanplayed in Padua, which saw the participation of over three thousand people from L’Aquila.
It will be the opening of the works Concetta Milanese, President of ASD Centro Studi My Gym, but also an unforgettable protagonist of L’Aquila sport; the sports councillor Vito Colonna will bring greetings from the Municipality of L’Aquila.
