The South Tyrolean will start again as number two in the world, thanks to the ATP ranking for what he has done in 2024, behind Novak Djokovic. The latter will be called to defend the primacy and the 2000 points achieved last year. The Italians present in the list which includes one hundred names (plus those in the protected ranking) there are nine of them. In fact it is in the number position ninety-eight in the ranking and will have to climb the hierarchy to play a leading tournament. The class of ’96 surprised everyone and barely managed to get onto the list.
