Positive weekend for the youth teams of Juvenilia Rugby – Nordest24

A debut full of expectations for the touch team of the Elephanti Toccati della Juvenilia. With a very young team, the average age is certainly less than 18 years, the boys played their first stage of theAlpe Adria Touch on the Rugby Sile field. This was an opportunity to see new talents such as Sara Piani, Achille Sclauzero and Alexander Pilon at work. The next meeting will be in Gorizia, where the team will try to build on this promising start.

Minirugby celebrations and mixed results in the other categories

The rugby festival in Gorizia was an opportunity for fun for the little ones minirugby, organized with enthusiasm by the friends of Gorizia Rugby. Despite the joyful day, the U14 category faced some difficulties in the Pordenone triangular tournament, suffering two defeats which demonstrate the growth path still ahead.

Differently, the U16 team, which collaborates with Venjulia Rugby Trieste, achieved significant success in Merano by beating the South Tyrol team with a clear score of 12-50. The young rugby players have shown notable improvements, the result of the work carried out so far under the guidance of coaches Di Giusto and Benevoli.

Finally, the U18, also the result of the collaboration with Venjulia, encountered difficulties in Maniago, where they suffered a heavy 39-7 defeat against the local team. Coaches Moradei, Esposito and Cirinà will have to work to make the boys express their full potential, which has not yet been fully shown.

Future perspectives

The path of the Juvenilia Rugby youth teams shows lights and shadows, but the growth path is evident and the results obtained are promising for the future. Anticipation for the next stages is high, and all eyes will be on the young talents who are emerging in these categories.
