The MotoGP market is becoming increasingly heated, watch out for the names and possible scenarios.
The fourth round of the season is getting closer and closer MotoGP. After the two Grands Prix in Qatar and Portugal, the entire paddock moved to the United States on April 14th to race at the Circuit of the Americas, with the triumph of Maverick Vinales of the Aprilia team. So far, one fact in particular has emerged. Ducati continues its dominance which, however, is no longer absolute. It’s true, the winners of the first two races were Pecco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin, but in the race and especially in the Sprint Races there was a more open fight than in 2023.
Especially the KTMs, with Binder and the surprise Pedro Acosta, I managed to keep up with the Borgo Panigale bikes. Be careful, however, because this season’s performances will undoubtedly influence the market in view of the next one. There are many drivers who will see theirs at the end of the season contract expire: Jorge Martin enea Bastianini, Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio, Alex and Marc Marquez, Augusto Fernandes, Miller, Mir and Rins and Nakagami. In addition to these, then, the four Aprilia riders.

And it is precisely the Noale team that could be the central pivot in any transfer move between now and next season. The announcement of Fabio Quartararo of the renewal with Yamaha surprised everyone in the paddock. An early announcement which, in fact, extinguished any hopes of those who wanted to try to sign him by taking advantage of the difficulties of the Japanese team. Among these was Aprilia, which had spoken with the French rider and the feelings were also positive.
Quartararo’s choice, however, blocked the plans Aprilia who is now studying the situation in view of next season. If on the one hand, in fact, Aleix Espargaro is quite sure of keeping his seat for the next seasons given the results he brings to the track, on the other hand both Maverick Vinales – perhaps more sure of his place after the splendid victory – and the two riders of the satellite team Raul Fernandez and Miguel Oliveira, are in the balance.
At the moment I am seven names circulating around the official Aprilia team for 2025: Bastianini, Morbidelli, Bezzecchi, Di Giannantonio, Martin and the two Marquez brothers. Of course, Aprilia wouldn’t mind hiring an Italian rider, mostly for a marketing reason. In general, however, the possibility of Martin and Marquez leading an official bike intrigues the Noale leaders quite a bit.
