ROUND 17

Leading positions frozen in this round. Viñales is now in management and maintains more than 9 tenths of a margin over Acosta. Bastianini remains in Martin’s wake, 3 tenths away, in the study phase to try to sink the overtaking that would be worth the podium.

ROUND 16

Overtaking and counter-overtaking between Bastianini and Martin at the bottom of turn 1. Enra is still in the fight for the podium, now he is trying to put a lot of pressure on his opponent. Bagnaia now seems cut off from the leading positions.

ROUND 15

Viñales is maintaining a blistering pace in the race test and has now taken a full second lead over Acosta. Bastianini remains glued to Martin, who maintains a narrow margin of a couple of tenths.

ROUND 14

Bagnaia continues to keep an underperforming pace compared to the other leading riders. Now we have to rely on Enea Bastianini for a possible comeback on Martin in the fight for the podium. The two are divided by just under 5 tenths.

ROUND 13

Viñales manages to materialize the long series of attacks and passes Acosta to take the lead. Meanwhile, Bastianini overtakes Bagnaia at the end of the straight and is now fourth behind Martin.

ROUND 12

Electrifying battle between Acosta and Viñales, protagonist of two very hard attacks which however met with fierce resistance from the opponent. Behind Martin there is also a fight between Bagnaia and Bastianini.

ROUND 11

Incredible sequence of episodes! Marquez overtakes Acosta in turn 1, seems to be able to take the lead, but crashes badly in turn 11 and is forced to return! Acosta returns to the race leader, ahead of Viñales, who climbs to second place, overtaking Martin in turn 20.

ROUND 10

Watch out, Martin’s collapse, when he seemed to be able to give pace at the head of the race! Acosta slips it and takes the lead, then Marquez overtakes, pushing Martin into third place.

ROUND 9

Furious battle between Bagnaia and Viñales. Overtaking and counter-overtaking between the two, and Viñales manages to take fourth place in turn 20, before the straight.

ROUND 8

Zarco and Nakagami retire, Morbidelli also falls. Bastianini overtakes Miller and regains sixth position. Martin tries to pull ahead and now has a 9/10 lead over Acosta.

ROUND 7

Bagnaia seems to have rear grip problems. And, in a handful of corners, he loses two positions and is overtaken by Acosta and Marquez. He also continues the rise of Viñales, who passes Miller and a struggling Bastianini after the excellent start, and moves up to fifth position.

ROUND 6

Martin’s overtaking, with contact with Marquez, reshaped the top positions of the race. Bagnaia is now second ahead of Acosta, with Marquez slipping to fourth. Watch out for Viñales, who moved up from eleventh to seventh place.

ROUND 5

Martin tries to take the lead, but Marquez doesn’t concede anything and stays perfectly in his slipstream, then takes him into turn 20, at the entrance to the straight. Behind, what a battle between Acosta and Bagnaia, who continues to defend splendidly.

ROUND 4

Double overtaking at the same time! Martin overtakes Acosta and takes the lead of the race, and Marquez does the same with Bagnaia. Acosta, in difficulty, then also slides behind Bagnaia, who thus regains third position.

ROUND 3

Martin has more pace than Acosta and the skirmishes continue. At the moment the three leading positions are frozen, but the chasing group is taking advantage of this to close the gap on Bagnaia, still third.

ROUND 2

Very heated brawl between Acosta and Martin. Behind, contact between Marquez and Miller, and Bagnaia takes advantage of it to move up to third position. Marquez appears to have lost a piece of his fairing after the accident.

GO! Excellent start from Acosta, who immediately takes the lead of the race. Followed by Martin, Bastianini, Miller, Marquez and Bagnaia. Viñales suffers a contact in turn 1 and drops to ninth position.
