The 17th matchday of Serie A, the last of 2025, ended with Roma’s home victory over Genoa 3-1. The championship will start again immediately after New Year’s Eve: the 18th day it will open on Friday 2 January at 8.45pm with the match between Cagliari and Milan. After serving the break, all eleven players disqualified in the previous round are available again. In view of the next day, however, the Sports Judge stopped a player and a coach. Below are all the official decisions, including the fines imposed on the companies.
PLAYERS DISQUALIFIED

Only one player will be disqualified in the 18th day. It’s about Diego Carlos (Como) who, having been warned, received a yellow card in the away game in Lecce and will therefore miss the next match against Udinese.
COACHES DISQUALIFIED

As for the coaches, By Francesco (Lecce) was disqualified for two days for having expressed seriously insulting epithets to the match director and for having continued the protest once he was expelled.
THE COMPANIES FINED

Several companies were sanctioned during the 17th matchday. The Milan received a fine of 10,000 euros for unjustifiably delaying the start of the race by approximately four minutes. Fine of 8,000 euros for Lecce and 7,000 per Lazio: during the match, the fans of the two teams threw firecrackers, smoke bombs and bottles into the playing area. Fine of 5,000 euros for Fiorentina for having his fans throw two firecrackers on the pitch and one in the playing area during the match. Also the Bologna he was fined 2,000 euros for throwing smoke bombs into the playing area. Finally, a fine of 1,500 euros forAtalantawhose fans threw a bottle onto the pitch during the match.
