In the nautical accident that took place on Sunday evening on Lake Maggiore they lost their lives due to a whirlwind Claudius Alonzi aged 62 – married and father of two children – e Tiziana Barnobi 53 years old, married and mother of a son who is still a minor. The two employees belonging to the Italian intelligence sector were in the area to participate in a convivial meeting organized on the occasion of the birthday celebration of a friend of theirs.
The Delegated Authority for the Security of the Republic, Alfredo Mantovano and the heads of the sector express their closeness and pain for the tragic event to the families of the victims. Tiziana Barnobi was a resident of Rome but originally from Trieste. In the latter city she would have graduated, in Economics. Carminati was heard by investigators.
Apart from Anya Bozhkova, a Russian citizen and wife of the captain, the rest of the passengers on board the ship sunk in Lake Maggiore were made up entirely of Italians and Israelis.
