Serious mourning for the Imoco Conegliano support community. Enrico “Fox” Tonial passed away yesterday, Saturday 15 June, due to an illness: he was 44 years old and lived with his family in Varago di Maserada sul Piave. “Fox” was among the founders of the organized support that accompanied the triumphs of the “panthers” in recent years. The news of his untimely death spread rapidly since early morning today, causing great condolences. The 44-year-old spent Saturday afternoon with a friend and after returning home he probably suffered a heart attack. The parents raised the alarm to 118 but the doctors and nurses from Suem 118 could not do much to save his life. There are dozens of messages of condolence that are arriving at the family in these hours, in particular the parents Fabrizio and Mirella, devastated by this terrible loss. Enrico was a highly esteemed pastry chef: for many years he worked at “Moralberti” in Candelù di Maserada sul Piave and had recently found a new job in a company in the confectionery sector in Villorba.

“The entire Gialloblu Youth rallies around the family of Enrico “Fox” Tonial for the sudden loss” write the cheering companions in the Curva Sud at the Palaverde in a dedication published on Facebook “We are broken and devastated by the passing of one of our dear friend and founder of the group. Always present friend, cheerful boy and always ready with a joke, tireless backbone of the Youth for 11 years. Rest in peace Fox”.

“The yellow-blue world mourns the passing of Enrico “FOX” Tonial, a great fan of ours” wrote the Italian volleyball club on social media “Yesterday we lost a family friend, a fan who has always been close to the team, one of the founders of the Youth Gialloblù, who with his friendliness and energy has always lit up our matches… the club, team and staff gather around the Tonial family and the boys of Gioventu Gialloblù in a heartfelt and tight embrace”.

“As Non Plus Ultra’s we offer our deepest condolences to the family of Enrico Tonial, for everyone at Fox and we all rally together around the boys of the Gioventù Gialloblu. We will always carry you in our hearts Fox, we know that you will continue to cheer with us” they wrote on the their Facebook page Non Plus Ultra’s.
