Several people, including at least 10 childrenhave remained wounded Monday evening at San Severo following breaking of a carousel which broke away from its support and fell for a few metres. The accident occurred during patronal feast in honor of Our Lady of Help.
In total, about a dozen people were injured. At least 4 people in serious conditions were transported to hospital. The dynamics are still being investigated. On site, in addition to some 118 ambulances, the fire fighters and the police who will have to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the accident.
According to what the local media learned, there were 12 people on board the carousel: when it went up, some arms broke off unhooked and attraction it went down without brake.
