It came out on June 5th, but it has already conquered everyone. Short Storiesthe unreleased duet by Annalisa and Tananai, is a song with a retro flavor with different sounds from the typical summer hit. But the mix of the two voices and the pounding chorus make it in all respects a real summer hit. After exceeding over 5 million streams in less than twenty days on Spotify, the video clip was released on June 24th and is ready to attract views and listeners on YouTube too.

The two artists, with a splendid location on Lake Como in the background, play a sort of modern Bonnie and Clyde in the video clip. It is a passionate love that is narrated in the song, unlike all other short relationships it is destined to last over time with a passion that burns from the first moment.

The song
The suspicion of a possible collaboration between the two artists arose on May 14, during the first date of Annalisa’s tour at the Verona Arena. Tananai had been a guest of the Ligurian singer and, after the two had duetted on the notes of the Sanremo success Tango, they joked “It would be nice to make a song together one day”. The official confirmation then arrived on May 30th via a post shared by both on social media: a black and white photo with the two artists lying on the grass and the description “SHORT STORIES out on June 5th”. In an interview with Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni Annalisa explained how the idea of the collaboration was born: “I was the one who called him, I had really wanted to do that song with him for a long time and it finally happened”. The song, written by both of them with Paolo Antonacci and Davide Simonetta (who also oversaw the production together with Tananai himself), brings together their voices and their pop-singer-songwriter vein. The result is an explosive union, with a crescendo sound and a pounding chorus that is already conquering all the playlists.
