The programming of the “OBS” exhibition – alongside “Experimenta” – changes location. For two days, Friday 7th and Saturday 8th from 9pm, it will move outdoors. The small village set up in the Princigalli Park in Bari – Mungivacca, will host a two-day event almost entirely dedicated to Italian music, in particular to that scene which, outside of the fashions of the moment, offers us a lively and innovative panorama. Seven concerts that bring together songwriting, rock and electronic music around two true icons of independent Italian music.

It starts on Friday 7 June with A Toys Orchestra, a band that presents the songs from its new album “Midnight Again”. Sounds with a velvety flavor like a great wine, refined sound images for a success that has gone beyond Italian borders. The evening will open with indie-pop with New Wave references from the group Malati Imaginari. The long night will be accompanied by the DJ set of one of the leading selectors of the Apulian scene The Verol, nom de guerre of Dario Verolino.

On the last day of the event, Saturday 8th at 9pm, in the strange scenario of a stormy election day, it will be the turn of one of the historic voices of the Italian music scene, Massimo Zamboni. The vibrant and more political soul of the CCCP and CSI will be on stage with the show “Con Voce di Popolo”. Taken from the book “La trionferà” and the album “My homeland today”, the artist proposes it as a trigger for collective reasoning on the idea of Homeland at the crossroads between anger and disillusionment, between enchantment and effort. In addition to his texts, the pages of the great Beppe Fenoglio appear in this piece. The opener will be the young singer-songwriter Napodano while the close, after the visionary producer Glanko, will be one of the most important ladies of the European consoles, the Swiss Natasha Polkè. Fast-paced rhythms, in his cinematic synth-pads in which you can get lost, enchanted by a melancholy and sensual voice.

OBS is organized by the Cooperativa A/Herostrato, with the patronage of the Ministry of Culture, Puglia Region and Municipality of Bari, with the artistic and organizational coordination of Tommaso Liuzzi and Gianluigi Trevisi.
