Five years after the first edition, an unmissable event returns for all lovers of the more traditional sounds of metal: The Classic Power Metal Show.
Born from an idea of three veterans of the Italian heavy metal scene, Dario Beretta of the DRAKKAR, Alessio Perardi of the AIRBORN And Andrea Tito of the BLACK PHANTOM, Saturday 18 May the Festival will stop at Dedolor Music Headquarters of Rovellasca (CO), offering fans of the genre the opportunity to attend the shows of three of the most authoritative Italian bands in the sector in a single evening.

DRAKKAR
Active since 1995, the Lombard band needs no introduction: it is by far one of the most renowned groups on the Italian heavy metal scene in the last thirty years. Author of three EPs and of
six albums, of which the most recent was released in 2021 by Punishment 18 Recordsthe group led by the guitarist Dario Beretta offers a power metal of great substance, with robust guitar riffs alternating with well-chosen and easy-to-remember choruses, irresistible in a live setting. A new album is expected to be released in 2024.
AIRBORN
The AIRBORN are known for their Teutonic-style power metal, which has its roots in classic heavy metal. Born in Turin in 1995, the band has six studio albums to its credit, a compilation of rarities and two live albums and celebratory DVDs. In almost three decades of career, the AIRBORN they collaborated with the famous German record producer and musician Piet Sielck (IRON SAVIOR, GAMMA RAY, HELLOWEEN, BLIND GUARDIAN, GRAVE DIGGER), took part in numerous festivals and supported metal giants across Europe. Currently the seventh album – and third chapter of the trilogy “Lizard Secrets” started in 2018 – is being recorded, and will be published soon.
BLACK PHANTOM
THE BLACK PHANTOM are the new mainstream heavy metal band from Andrea Titobassist and principal songwriter and composer of the Historians Mesmerize – one of the longest-running and most respected Italian metal bands, on the scene for over 35 years. In 2017 i PHANTOM release their debut album “Better Beware!” and, after an important series of concerts and participation in important metal festivals throughout Italy, they repeat three years later with the second full length “Zero Hour Is Now”. In the period of the Covid-19 pandemic, the band participates in a large number of international horror film soundtracks: this particular experience inspires “Horror Paradise”, the brand new third album released at the end of March 2024, which the band is currently promoting with intense live activity.
