Music, Marcella Bella sings “L’Etna”: new single by the Catania artist

From Friday 3 May ‘L’Etna’, the new single by Marcella Bella, will be on the radio and digitally. The song, written by Marcella herself together with her brother Rosario Bella, currently available only in the physical versions of the vinyl album ‘Etnea’, is thus added to the tracklist of the digital version of the album.

Explosive like the volcano

In this new single Marcella Bella opens up and talks about the nuances of her personality without filters, identifying herself with the Sicilian volcano Etna. ”The volcano represents me and I like to think that it is not a coincidence given that I was born in Catania – declares Marcella Bella – They often tell me that I don’t have an easy character and if I get angry I explode just like Etna does when its volcano erupts lava. But every medal has its downside and I can also be sweet and sincere. Two contrasting personalities coexist in me: strong and fragile, woman and child… in short, I definitely don’t make those around me bored. I told myself a little in this song that I love in a particular way”.

Marcella singer and author

In the new album ‘Etnea’ the artist explores a new phase in her career, taking on the role of author for the first time. Produced by Fausto Cogliati and composed of 10 songs, the album captures the contrasts that define Marcella: on the one hand volcanic, with a strength that is expressed in energetic and explosive songs, on the other lava-like, full of passion and feeling. Among the songs on the album, ‘Mi rubi l’anima’ stands out, written together with her brother Rosario, in which Marcella delicately and sensitively addresses the topic of violence against women. The song is enriched by the collaboration with Loredana Bertè, a friend and colleague with whom Marcella shares a profound sensitivity on the subject, thus testifying to their emotional bond and emotional connection.
