CREMONA – Loredana Bertè will be on stage this evening at Ponchielli at 9pm. The lady of Italian rock finally arrives in the city theater with his 2024 Theater Tour Manifesto after the first date had been postponed for health reasons.
The singer, queen of transformation and lover of provocation, presents a show in which, for the umpteenth time in his long career, he puts himself on the line with his current and powerful songs enough to travel between generations and tell us all. The show promises to be a great tribute to pop and rock and a tribute, through visuals, to pop art. On the led walls that will accompany the scenography, the video of Movie movie that the painter Andy Warhol he filmed for Loredana when, in the 1980s, they were dating in the artist’s studio in New York. Taking part in the Manifesto Tour Teatrale means getting on a carousel that moves between past and present, pop and rock, blues and reggae, accompanied by super colorful images and rock symbols, such as the Rolling Stones’ language or the Clash’s jackets.
Through the videos and the lyrics of the songs, social messages related to women also arrive, a theme always present in Loredana’s story, as in general the defense of the rights of the weakest and all those who cannot defend themselves. The setlist will span the singer’s entire discography, therefore full of timeless hits.
You can’t miss masterpieces like The winter sea, You are very beautiful And Dedicated. Among the various immortal songs, there is also space for some gems of refinement with lesser-known songs, covers designed for the occasion and, naturally, thethe latest Sanremo hit, Pazza.
Moments of pure emotion and intensity, but also of contagious energy for approximately two hours of show. On stage with the Calabrian rocker a five-piece band: Ivano Zanotti on drums, Stefano Cerisoli and Marco Grasselli on guitars, Alberto Linari on keyboards, Pierluigi Mingotti on bass.
Alongside the historical chorister Aida Cooper also Annastella Camporeale. This evening’s date at the Ponchielli theater was originally scheduled for March 12, but for health reasons the singer had to revolutionize the calendar of the entire tour.
