From Achille Lauro to Mahmood and Ultimo, all those who take the stage at the Concertone on May 1st

Here are the artists who will perform at the Concertone del Primo Maggio at the Circo Massimo. An exceptional line up on stage (in alphabetical order): Achille Lauro, Alda, Anna Castiglia, Ariete, Bigmama, Bloom, Caffellatte & Giuze, Giocamifaro, Coez & Frah Quintale, Colapesce Dimartino, Cor Veleno, Cosmo, Dargen D’amico, Ditonellapiaga, Ermal Meta, Ex-Otago, La Municipal, The List Representative, Leo Gassmann, Lina Simons, Mahmood, Malika Ayane, Maria Antonietta E Colombre, Mazzariello, Mille, Morgan, Motta, Negramaro, Noemi, Olly, Piero Pelù, Piotta, Rosa Linn, Rose Villain, Santi Francesi, Stefano Massini and Paolo Jannacci, Tananai, Teseghella, Tripolare, Tropico, Ultimo, Uzi Lvke, Vale Lp. More artists will be announced in the coming days.

The opening of the square at 1.15pm led by BigMama with Albe, Cioffi, Diego Lazzari And Nashley, Etta, Gaudiano, Irbis. After several years of running Amberlast year helped by Fabrizio Biggio, a change of masters of ceremonies. But it is not the only novelty of the traditional event promoted by the unions on Labor Day. In fact, this year the Concertone will leave Piazza San Giovanni to move to the Circus Maximus due to work in view of next year’s Jubilee. “Let’s build together a Europe of peace, work and social justice” is the slogan CGIL, CISL and UIL they chose for Labor Day 2024.

As always, the Concertone will be free to enter. It will be broadcast starting from 3.15 pm and until 00.15 am (with a break from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm for the news editions) live on Rai 3 and Rai Radio 2 and will be broadcast on RaiPlay and Rai Italia. Like every year, there will be 3 winning artists Contest 1MNEXT through which the Concerto del Primo Maggio searches for new talents who, chosen through the various selection phases, will then be invited to perform during the Concertone 2024. The 3 winners were selected during the live final on 18 April in Rome (behind closed doors ), through the vote of the Quality Jury composed of: Massimo Bonelli (artistic director of the May Day Concert, jury president), Sara Potente (artistic director Numero Uno/Sony Music), Lucia Stacchiotti (iCompany), Annarita Masullo (The Goodness Factory) and Simona Orlando (Rockol). One of the 3 will finally be awarded during the live TV broadcast on May Day as the winner of 1MNEXT 2024. The 12 finalists of 1MNEXT 2024 are: Atarde (Ancona), Belly Button and Il Coro Onda (Rome), Didi (Lendinara – RO) , Fra’ Sorrentino (Marino – RM), Giglio (Turin), La musica di forte (Copertino – LE), Macadamia (Rome), Margherita Principi (Fano – PU), Moonari (Rome), Soloperisoci (Rome), Tigri da Soggiorno (Rome) and Velia (Rome).
