Taylor Swift has broken yet another record: with “The tortured poets department”, the album released on April 19, she became the most listened to artist in a single day in the history of Spotify. It’s no longer surprising, after all, the pop star is one of the few to have built her billion-dollar fortune solely thanks to music and concerts, without launching herself into the world of beauty as other of her colleagues have done, starting with her best friend Selena Gomez.

Despite this, he remains a very humble and down to earth person. Or at least this is what Tyler Conroy, the Taylor Swift superfan who fulfilled her dream by spending a day in the company of her pop star in her house in New York, claims.
If we talk about “swifties” (Swift fans), Tyler is number one, he also wrote a biography of the singer (“Taylor Swift: This Is Our Song”) and staged a musical in her honor. Precisely following the latter, the pop star invited him to her house, together with other fans and her ever-present and protective father, who Tyler remembers sitting on the sofa watching TV.
Peter Jackson’s former home
And so the young man entered the home in Tribeca (the New York neighborhood) that belonged to Peter Jackson. In fact, Taylor purchased the house from the director of “Lord of the Rings” in 2014, for a total of 18 million dollars. At the time the house already had seven bedrooms, but Taylor later expanded it by purchasing parts of the building next door and combining the top two floors to create a vast space, spanning 771 square metres. Today the property has an estimated value of $50 million.
Tyler describes the furnishings as rustic: the kitchen, for example, is country style, with a large dining table in the center, yellow walls, white doors and wooden beams along the ceiling. Other walls are red, the sofas are velvet and the chandeliers are in neoclassical style. The upper floor, according to what the fan claims, is “Taylor’s floor”: the furniture there is in old New York style.
There is also a library where the singer often retreats to read “Harry Potter”, but the highlight of the house is the bathroom: Tyler says that to get there there is a door behind a bookcase, as if it were a speak-easy . There you can find towels embroidered with the singer’s initials and even a Grammy.
Taylor Swift has won 14 of them over the course of her career, so it’s no surprise that they are scattered all over the house.
